How to Use NonRevCheckin.com
At NonRevCheckin.com, our goal is to give you the most information possible at convenient times to make your travels easier and more enjoyable. These pages discuss what we do at NonRevCheckin.com along with showing you how to use our site.
Checkin
If you wish to just use our free checkin services, once you have registered with our site, you can fill out the Quick Checkin form on the home page. In order to fill out this data, you must have first made a reservation with the airline we are checking in with. You will receive from the airline, a 6 alpha numeric code called a Confirmation Code (CC), Passenger Name Record (PNR), or a Record Locator (RL). They all mean the same thing. Fill in the form and click on Checkin to create your itinerary.
If you need to make a change or cancel your checkin, just log back into this site, click on My Itineraries, and you will see a link within your itinerary to cancel. If you need to make a change, just reenter a new order on the home page under Quick Checkin.
For our Members, you can use the Quick Checkin or create a new checkin via the Passenger Seat Availability window once you are logged in. See more information below and on the next few pages on how this works. If you use the Quick Checkin and you are a member, mobile alerts will be set to 24, 12,
4 and 1 hour for this flight as a default. If you wish to change them, you can under My Itineraries.
Right now our checkin service is limited to Non Revenue Standby Passengers flying on US Airways® and US Airways Express® flights who meet the following criteria – an adult passenger, electronically ticketed and traveling within the United States.
Process
For the checkin process, you will be checked in via "web checkin" at the earliest time possible. It doesn't matter what time of day your flight leaves, we will get you checked in. If you have more than one person in your party traveling with you, we will check them all in at the same time.
Once you are checked in, we will email you the boarding passes. If you don't have access to your computer before the departure, no worry, just print out a new boarding pass at the airport kiosk.
You also have the option of getting a text message on your cell phone once we have checked you in. If for some reason there is a problem with your checkin, you will also receive a message stating so.
The next few pages cover areas only accessible for our members. If you are not a member yet, take a look at what we can do for you.
